Begin your scenic journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Comfortable Bus. After 7-8 Hours you will reach Pokhara, a vibrant city known for its stunning lakes and breathtaking views of the Annapurna range. As you traverse the Prithvi Highway, you'll pass through picturesque countryside, terraced fields, and traditional Nepali villages. Arrive in Pokhara, where the serene Phewa Lake and the majestic Annapurna peaks welcome you.

After breakfast, your trek finally commences with the jeep will drive to Jhinu. The drive itself is an experience, passing through quaint villages, terraced fields, and lush forests. Upon reaching Jhinu, which typically takes around 3-4 hours from Pokhara, you'll find yourself at the starting point of your trek to Chhomrong. This part of the trek offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, with picturesque trails that wind through rhododendron forests and traditional Gurung villages. As you arrive in Chhomrong, settle into your accommodation and take some time to explore the village. Chhomrong is one of the largest Gurung settlements in the area and offers a glimpse into the local culture and lifestyle. Enjoy a hearty dinner with traditional Nepali cuisine and rest up for the next leg of your journey.

Today the trail drops down to the Chhomrong Khola and again we continue climbing to Khuldighar at 2380 metres where there is an ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area) Check post. There is a clearing in the forest a little further on, from which, the route travels very steeply down a rock bank then levels out, running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge. With Lunch in Bamboo walk for 1.5 hours and you will reach your final destination for the day Dovan.

Today, our day begins with the climb through bamboo forests, river streams & then rhododendron forests to Himalayan Hotel and on to Hinku cave. After crossing the cave,  the trail climbs past the Machhapuchhre Base Camp, which isn’t really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted. Since it is totally surrounded by mountains, this area is known as the Annapurna Sanctuary.

Today we will wake up early in the morning and walk towards our main destination. An spectacular two hour trek from Machhapuchhre Base Camp takes you to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at an elevations of 4130 metres.

We are now in the very heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary as the valley widens under the grinding power of the glacier. The multi-summit mountain wall of Annapurna South (7,219m) to Annapurna I (8,091m) now towers in front of us. Take your time to soak in the scenery and take lots and lots of photos.

After spending some time here at the base camp we will hike for another 6 hours as we retrace our steps to Bamboo. The trail drops 1,830m/ 5,577 feet, to the bank of Modi Khola to Bamboo at 2,300m/ 7,693 feet.

Today’s route descends to the Chhomrong Khola before climbing the stairs back to Sinuwa and then to Chhomrong. It then descends steeply to Jhinu Danda for almost 2hrs.

Jhinu Danda is counted among the best places while trekking to Annapurna Base Camp. Built on the river banks of mighty Modi Khola and encircled by the beautiful trees, hot water will relax your body and the eyes will be mesmerised from the panoramic views of the river. Just close your eyes and feel the sound of the river filling your head.

Overnight: Tea House in Jhinu Danda

Today, we will drive back from Jhinu Danda (1780m) to Pokhara by Jeep. It takes 3 ½ to 4 hours by Jeep. Arriving back in Pokhara, you'll bid farewell to the majestic mountains that have accompanied you throughout your adventure. It's a moment to reflect on the experiences gained, the challenges overcome, and the memories made with your guide and fellow trekkers. Pokhara, with its serene lakes and vibrant atmosphere, provides a fitting end to your trekking expedition.

Today, we will drive back to Kathmandu. It will take about 7-8 hours, an overland journey by tourist coach. And the gentle light brings us on our way back to the bustle of Nepal’s capital.
