Itinerary
Day 1
8:00 AM – Pick-Up from Hotel (Kathmandu City Area)
- Your guide/driver will pick you up from your hotel in a private vehicle.
- Drive to Godavari (approx. 1.5-hour drive), a peaceful area at the southern edge of the valley.
9:30 AM – Arrival at Paragliding Base (Godavari/Chapakharka)
- Receive a short briefing from professional instructors.
- Safety checks and introduction to the equipment.
- Fill out the liability waiver and get ready.
10:30 AM – Drive to Take-Off Point (Chapakharka – 2100m)
- A short jeep ride to the take-off point, located on a scenic ridge surrounded by forests.
- Enjoy panoramic views before flight.
11:00 AM – Tandem Paragliding Experience (20–30 minutes flight)
- Soar like a bird over the lush hills and Kathmandu Valley.
- Experience views of Phulchowki Hill, Godavari Botanical Garden, and on a clear day, distant Himalayan peaks.
- Optional: Ask for aerial photos or videos (additional cost).
12:00 PM – Landing & Refreshment
- Land safely in Rasantar, Godavari.
