Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, covering approximately 200 kilometers in 6 to 7 hours via the picturesque Prithvi Highway. Along the way, you'll pass through lush valleys, riverside settlements, and terraced hillsides with glimpses of rural life in Nepal. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you'll be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the vibrant Lakeside area, soaking in the serene views of Phewa Lake and the surrounding Annapurna range.

After breakfast, begin your adventurous drive from Pokhara to Lete, a journey of approximately 7 to 8 hours. En route, make a stop at Kushma for lunch, where thrill-seekers have the option to participate in one of several adrenaline-pumping activities such as bungee jumping, the world’s second-highest swing, ziplining, or air cycling across the suspension bridge. Following the break, continue your drive along the dramatic Kali Gandaki Gorge, recognized as one of the deepest gorges in the world, flanked by towering peaks. By late afternoon, arrive in Lete, a tranquil Himalayan village nestled amid breathtaking snow-capped mountains.

Today’s drive from Lete to Jomsom takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, enriched with scenic and cultural highlights along the way. Begin the morning with a visit to the charming Marpha village, famous for its apple orchards and traditional stone houses. Continue to Dumba Lake, a serene alpine lake near Jomsom, followed by a stop at Jomsom Heights for sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges. The journey also includes exploration of Thini village, a culturally rich Thakali settlement, and Kagbeni, an ancient village at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Jhong rivers, marking the gateway to Upper Mustang. Conclude the day with a spiritual visit to the revered Muktinath Temple, a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists, before settling in for the night in Jomsom.

En route, visit the ancient Ghar Monastery, one of the oldest active monasteries in Nepal and believed to be among the oldest in the world, known for its spiritual significance and historic murals. Continue onward to Dhakmar Village, famed for its surreal red cliffs and wind-eroded formations that create a uniquely Mars-like landscape. By late afternoon, arrive in Lo-Manthang, the historic walled capital of Upper Mustang, where centuries-old traditions and architecture remain remarkably preserved.

Begin the day with an early morning drive to a remote yak shelter, where you’ll witness the age-old practice of yak farming—a vital livelihood in this high-altitude region. Learn how the locals tend to their yaks, harvesting milk used for making butter, cheese, and yogurt, while also relying on these hardy animals for transportation, fuel (from dried dung), and wool. This rare insight into yak farming offers a glimpse into the resilience and sustainability of life in Mustang’s harsh climate. Afterward, explore the area’s remarkable ancient cave dwellings carved into cliffs, visit centuries-old monasteries filled with colorful murals and prayer wheels, and admire the distinctive architecture of traditional Mustang homes. In the afternoon, unwind at a natural hot spring nestled within the stark, arid desert—a soothing contrast to the rugged terrain.
