The drive offers beautiful views of rolling hills, rivers, and distant mountains. After approximately 6 to 7 hours and covering about 180 kilometers, you arrive in Besisahar, a bustling town that marks the official gateway to the Annapurna region. Settle in for the night at a comfortable guesthouse or lodge.

Meals : Dinner Only

Day 2

Today marks the start of your off-road Himalayan adventure. Departing Besisahar, the trail becomes rugged and remote as you enter the highlands of Manang. Along the way, you pass through Nepal’s first mountain tunnel, carved dramatically into the cliffside, and make scenic stops at both the Octopus Waterfall and the powerful Chyamje Waterfall. You'll traverse charming stone villages such as Jagat, Tal, and Dharapani, capturing the cultural essence of the region. By afternoon, you reach Bhratang, home to one of Nepal’s largest and most famous apple orchards. Enjoy a guided tour of the apple farm and taste fresh apple pie, juice, and other homemade apple products. Overnight at the Apple Farm House or a nearby eco-lodge.

Meals : Breakfast and Dinner Only

Day 3

After breakfast, you begin a scenic 4- to 5-hour drive toward Manang, following winding alpine roads through pine forests and rocky outcrops. A detour takes you via Green Lake, a stunning high-altitude pond, before ascending to the traditional Tibetan-style villages of Ghyaru and Ngawal, which offer some of the most breathtaking panoramas of Annapurna II, III, and Tilicho Peak. Continuing on, you arrive in Manang Village at 3,540 meters. In the evening, take a short walk to the Manang Monastery and enjoy a peaceful sunset surrounded by the snowcapped Himalayas. Overnight in a cozy teahouse or lodge in Manang.

Meals : Breakfast and Dinner Only

Day 4

Today is dedicated to exploring the wonders of the Manang Valley. Begin with a short drive and light hike to the stunning Gangapurna Lake, followed by a visit to the serene and lesser-known Mini Lake. A more adventurous hike will lead you to the mystical Blue Lake, a brilliant glacial pool nestled high in the meadows. The day also includes visits to iconic spiritual sites such as Bhojo Gompa, Braga Monastery, and other cultural landmarks that define the Manang region. You may also opt to visit the Himalayan Rescue Association for insights into high-altitude acclimatization. Overnight at the same lodge in Manang.

Meals : Breakfast and Dinner Only

Day 5

Bid farewell to Manang as you begin the return journey toward lower altitudes. The drive retraces your route through Bhratang and Chame, offering one last chance to enjoy the mountain scenery and rugged beauty of the region. After approximately 6 to 7 hours on the road, you reach Dharapani, a quaint mountain village where you will spend the night in a guesthouse.

Meals : Breakfast and Dinner Only

Day 6

Your final day is the longest driving stretch as you leave Dharapani and descend back toward the mid-hills. Reconnecting with the main highway at Besisahar, you continue your return journey to Kathmandu, covering about 210 kilometers over 9 to 10 hours. Arrive back in the capital by evening, with unforgettable memories of your 4x4 adventure to Manang.
